Dato' Yeow Wah Chin heads the corporate and commercial department.

​

He obtained his Economics degree from the University Kebangsaan Malaysia in 1984 before pursuing an LL.B from the University of Wales, United Kingdom, which he completed in 1991. Following this, he obtained his Certificate of Legal Practice in 1992.

​

During the initial five years of his career from 1984 to 1989, he held various roles, including Senior Credit Officer, at Malayan Banking Berhad. After graduating with a law degree in 1991, he continued at Malayan Banking Berhad as a Senior Legal Officer until 1992. He then underwent his chambering at Messrs Nik Saghir & Ismail and was subsequently called to the Malaysian Bar in 1993.

Post-admission, he joined Messrs Ismail Sabri & Wee, where he led the banking and conveyancing department until May 1994 when he founded Messrs Yeow & Salleh.

​

As an experienced practising lawyer, he has been appointed to serve as the legal advisor for the Yeow See Association in Melaka since 2015. He has previously served as a member of the advocates and solicitors disciplinary committee and the conveyancing practice committee of Bar Council Malaysia as well as the legal advisor for the Society of Interpreters of the Deaf in Selangor and Wilayah Persekutuan.

Wan Nurhanis bt Wan Ismail heads the conveyancing and banking department.

 

she graduated in 2012 from Universiti Islam Antarabangsa Malaysia (UIAM). Following her 

graduation, she underwent her chambering period under the guidance of Dato Yeow Wah Chin, a seasoned legal professional. After successfully completing her chambering, she was officially admitted to the Malaysian Bar in January 2013, marking the beginning of her legal career.

​

Wan Nurhanis specializes in the field of conveyancing and banking law, with a particular emphasis on Islamic banking. This specialised focus reflects her expertise and dedication to serving clients within the realm of Islamic finance. As the head of the conveyancing and banking department, she plays a pivotal role in advising clients and ensuring compliance with relevant legal frameworks.

He graduated in 2020 from Queen’s University Belfast, United Kingdom, with an LL.B (Hons) Degree. In 2021, he undertook professional training by enrolling in the Bar Training Course (BTC) and was admitted as a member of The Honourable Society of Middle Temple. In 2022, he went on to complete his LL.M in London.
 

Upon graduating, he commenced his pupillage at Messrs. Wong Beh & Toh, where he gained exposure to the corporate world of listing companies for IPOs, and was admitted to the Malaysian Bar in 2024. He joined Messrs. Yeow & Salleh in February 2024 and was appointed as a Partner on 25th September 2024. He presently handles a broad range of work in the area of conveyancing and commercial matters.

Tay Hwe Yinn graduated with an LL.B (Hons) Degree from the University of Liverpool, United Kingdom, in the year 2015. She completed the Certificate in Legal Practice in Malaysia in 2016. Subsequently, Tay Hwe Yinn commenced her pupillage at Messrs. Donny Wong & Co, where she underwent practical training under the supervision of experienced legal professionals. After completing her pupillage, she was admitted to the Malaysian Bar in the year 2018. Her early career experiences included a stint at Messrs. Low & Partners, where she handled a diverse range of corporate and commercial contracts. Additionally, she gained experience in general and banking litigation practices during her tenure at Messrs. Tuan, Mohd Zain & Co.

In early 2021, Tay Hwe Yinn joined  Messrs. Yeow & Salleh, where she presently engages in a broad spectrum of work within the area of conveyancing. Her role encompasses various aspects of property transactions.

Kanagaeswaran A/L Gunasegaran obtained the LLB (Hons) from the University of the West of England,  Bristol, in 2019 with Second Class Upper. Upon returning to Malaysia, he pursued a Certificate in Legal Practice (CLP) and successfully passed the CLP exam in the first attempt. Thereafter, he commenced his pupillage in Messrs Iza Ng Yeoh & Kit and served the Corporate and Conveyancing department. Upon completion of the pupillage, he was admitted as an Advocate & Solicitor of the High Court of Malaya on 27th July 2023.
 

He later went into Company Secretarial practice with Tricor Sdn Bhd and supported the Singapore business units. Thereafter, he also gained an employment with CIMB Bank Berhad and served in their Group Company Secretary department and had the experiences dealing with Companies Act, Financial Services Act, Capital Market and Sevices Act as well as the Malaysia Code on Corporate Governance (MCCG). 
 

He decided to come back to legal practice after being in the Company Secretarial practice and later joined Messrs YL Ooi & Chai as a Legal Assistant. His area of practice currently encompasses both conveyancing and corporate practice.

​A'isyah binti Shahrul Nizar

A’isyah binti Shahrul Nizar was born in Kuala Lumpur and raised in Selangor. She completed her secondary education at SMK Lembah Keramat and thereafter, graduated with a Bachelor of Laws (LL.B (Hons)) from International Islamic University Malaysia in 2024.

​

​She completed her internship at Mazidah Husain & Associates in Setapak. Throughout the course of her internship, she was mainly exposed to Shariah procedures mainly in Hibah and Family Law. She had an opportunity assisting the lawyers in drafting pleadings, attending court proceedings, go to the Land Office, and filing for court documents. Fresh out of university, she decided to join a two-month contract as a paralegal at Thomas Philip from which she gained experience in civil litigation and arbitration disputes in assisting the lawyers conducting clients’ consultation, preparing for legal research as well as attending court proceedings specifically in commercial disputes and family law.

​

In University, she participated in various events and clubs including Titian Wahyu Club and Steadfast Club as she always had a passion for philanthropy and charity work. She is also a member and a digital sub-committee of Inns of Court Malaysia. Swimming and reading are her favourite activities to do during free time. She commenced her chambering in September 2024 and has been exposed to a variety of conveyancing work since then. Her Master is our Managing Partner, Dato’ Yeow Wah Chin.
